General conditions of sale

These general terms and conditions of sale govern the relationship between MATC and any person using the matc.shop website to place an order. Placing an order constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, the prices and descriptions of the products offered.

Presentation and availability of articles

The products presented on the site are subject to change. Photos of items presented are not contractually binding, unless otherwise stated. The products offered for sale on the site are generally in stock; otherwise, MATC will promptly confirm the availability of the order. The offer is valid while stocks last. Item descriptions may contain typographical errors.

Delivery, flat rate postage and packaging

MATC undertakes to ship ordered items within a maximum of 48 to 72 hours (subject to stock availability) depending on the payment processing time. The average delivery time for available items is 48 hours after dispatch for mainland France, 4 working days for Europe, and up to 7 days for certain destinations outside Europe. However, delivery times are given for information purposes only.

Receiving your order

We invite you to check (or have the receiving agent check) the apparent condition of the products upon delivery. In the presence of an apparent anomaly (package or product missing from the delivery note, damaged package, broken products, etc.) you can either refuse your order or accept it by issuing written reservations on the delivery slip specifying the apparent anomaly and then notify us by email or telephone.

You must follow this procedure so that we can reship damaged or missing items to you, otherwise no claim will be considered.

Your invoice for a disputed shipment must be paid in full and on time, without restriction.

After-sales service is free of charge in the event of manufacturing or non-conformity of the product. MATC provides after-sales service provided that the products have been used normally, free from any fault in use or maintenance.

Removal costs are the responsibility of the customer.

The return will be valid if: the packaging is suitable to avoid any damage during transport. Items returned incomplete, damaged or soiled by the customer will not be accepted for return or exchange.

All products in the clearance category are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. Returns or credit requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the items.

You are not satisfied with your order:

You have a 15-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt of your package. Please note that the right of withdrawal for an order does not apply to personalized products made to measure at your request (e.g., canvas for TTOP) under Article L.121-20-2 of the French Consumer Code. These products cannot be refunded, credited, or exchanged except in the event of a quality defect.

You can request the exchange or refund of one or more items without having to provide a reason or pay a penalty, with the exception of return costs (and resend costs in the case of an exchange).

The value of the item returned for exchange or refund will be the value at which the customer purchased it, as evidenced by the corresponding invoice. Any request for exchange or refund must be made by telephone or by email: contact@matc.com

Order

The order is only registered after receipt and full payment. Orders received on the website will be honored only within the limits of available stocks. In the event of temporary or permanent unavailability of a product, MATC undertakes to inform the customer as soon as possible.

Payment

Payment is made either by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard), data entry is secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, which guarantees optimal transaction security, (in collaboration with the payment service provider PAYGREEN), or by check made payable to "MATC", or by bank transfer. In the case of payment by credit card, the total amount of the order plus the shipping costs is debited. If the order is not shipped in full, and unless otherwise requested by the customer, the amount of the unshipped products is refunded by check or bank transfer. In the case of payment by check or bank transfer, the items ordered will only be shipped once the check or bank transfer has actually been cashed. Payments must reach us within seven days of the order being recorded. After this period, in the absence of payment, the order is automatically canceled, unless we have agreed to an additional period.

Selling price

Prices are listed in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They include the VAT applicable in mainland France, in effect on the day the order is placed. Prices are subject to change without notice on our website and our digital and print distribution channels. The price recorded at the time the order is placed is charged.

Guarantee

In the case of an item under warranty, the duration and scope of the warranty vary depending on each product. Please note that all products on the matc.shop store are guaranteed for 24 months. The warranty does not cover misuse or poor maintenance of the products, nor normal wear and tear of certain parts. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by causes external to the product such as falling, lightning strike, water damage, fire, etc. The warranty does not cover return and shipping costs, which remain the responsibility of the customer.

Identification

All customers of the site must follow an online registration procedure to place an order. The information requested is essential for processing and delivering orders, as well as for establishing the invoice and warranty contract. Final validation of the order and/or online provision of the credit card number constitutes signature and express acceptance of all operations carried out on the site and constitutes proof of the order in accordance with the provisions of the law of March 13, 2000.

The customer is informed that the automated processing of information, including the management of users' email addresses, has been declared to the CNIL. In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, the user has the right to access and rectify data concerning him/her.

Ownership of goods

MATC remains the owner of the goods until full payment of the price as well as any additional costs and interest if due in accordance with the law of May 12, 1980 and July 13, 1967.

Applicable law

These conditions are subject to French law and the provisions of the Consumer Code relating to distance selling in France.

Attribution of competence

In the event of a dispute relating to the execution of the clauses and conditions indicated above and in the absence of an amicable agreement between the parties, the Courts of Alès shall have sole jurisdiction.
