With over 35 years of experience, MATC is recognized for the quality of its manufacturing and its responsiveness.
MATC was founded in the Yvelines region where Jean-Pierre Gainche, a keen spearfisherman, created his company and manufactured launching wheels to make boating easier, as well as tridents and arrows for sea hunting.
MATC establishes itself in the Gard region. It is in Méjannes-les-Alès that the company develops new products: roll bar, stainless steel arch, diving ladder, diving tank rack, ski mast. Jean-Pierre Gainche designs all of his products based on his experience at sea. All MATC models are exclusive.
Clément Russier, MATC subcontractor and stainless steel processing specialist, succeeds Jean-Pierre Gainche, who has retired. He moves into the Méjannes-les-Alès office and expands the product range. He develops a network of partners: resellers, manufacturers, and shipyards. The MATC team expands the range of roll bars, ski masts, and other products.
MATC launches its range of sun awnings: aluminum and stainless steel biminis, and aluminum T-tops. Thanks to its excellent value for money, meeting the expectations of boaters, the "Oxygène" range has been a resounding success. The company also launches its online store, accessible to professionals and individuals.
Clément Russier joins forces with his brothers, the directors of the company CITYNOX, also specialized in stainless steel processing. This family merger brings the MATC team to the CITYNOX premises in Saint Martin de Valgalgues. MATC is changing direction: the company is moving from artisanal production to mass production. It now relies on a fleet of state-of-the-art machines, a 2,500m² workshop, and a team of 30 people.
MATC is moving to Alès and moving into new 4500m2 premises, to continue its development and adapt its working tools.

To equip your boats, new or used, we have developed a range of sun awnings made up of T-TOPs and biminis, a range of diving and leisure equipment such as ski masts, turboswings, etc. And many other product categories to accompany you on your sea trips.
